NJPW Strong Surprise Challenges For ROH Pure Championship

On tonight’s airing of ROH (March 9) the next challenger for the Ring of Honor Pure Championship was revealed.

After retaining his Ring of Honor Pure Championship, a new opponent for champ Wheeler Yuta has been revealed.

Making his way to the ring, the ‘Wild Rhino’ Clark Connors from NJPW Strong who snapped up the mic and immediately had something to say to the champ.

Saying he didn’t know if fans remembered him but he is from the LA Dojo and he was coming for Wheeler Yuta.

However after issuing a challenge to Wheeler Yuta, Yuta initially walked away silently however turned back to shout at Connors, “You’re on!”

Elsewhere on tonight’s ROH, Wheeler Yuta’s Blackpool Combat Club brother and ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli continued to face a fierce challenge.

After Eddie Kingston yet again called him out, Claudio simply responded that “a man without honor will never be Ring of Honor champion,” and left the stage!
