ROH Star Tracy Williams Gives Update After Being Hit By A Car

ROH World Tag Team Champion Tracy Williams has provided a health update after revealing that he had recently been hit by a car.

Yesterday (June 4), Tracy Williams shared a photo of himself in a neck brace to Twitter. The ROH star said that he had been struck by a car while crossing the street.

Williams claimed that the incident was lucky, as his pet dog, and an older couple who were also crossing, were unharmed.

Recalling the incident, Williams tweeted:

“Firstly, I’ll be okay. I got full on hit by a car yesterday x-ing the street. Guy blew a red going ~25mph. I flew for what felt like a full second, landed high on my back. Just so unbelievably lucky & grateful that my dog who was walking with me was somehow not hit & she’s okay.

“I’d take the hit for her any day & it could’ve been so much worse. There are a lot of things about it that were lucky in that weird way. Like, it’s lucky this asshole idiot driver hit a 32 y/o pro wrestler & not the old couple that was crossing from the other side in front of me.

“Also I now know that the times I said ‘I feel like I got hit by a car’ I really wasn’t THAT far off. Also annoying it wasn’t on camera because it must have looked insane.”

Williams followed up shortly after, clarifying that he was at home after leaving hospital. He thanked everyone for their kind responses to his original tweet, before urging people to take care when driving.

Providing an update, Williams tweeted:

Williams currently holds ROH tag team gold alongside Rhett Titus. The champions most recently defended their titles against Matt Taven and Mike Bennett on ROH TV last month.

ROH sent their love to Williams, tweeting:

“Feel better soon @sauce_williams (prayer emoji, heart emoji) ROH family sending love”

All of us here at WrestleTalk wish Williams a safe and healthy recovery.
