Roxanne Perez has recalled her reaction to being told she would hit her Pop Rox finisher on John Cena at WWE Survivor Series 2025.

Ahead of his final match at Saturday Night’s Main Event in December, John Cena competed in his final WWE premium live event match at Survivor Series 2025 in San Diego, where he lost the Intercontinental Championship to Dominik Mysterio.

The match saw a lot of interference from the Judgment Day after Dominik feigned an injury on the outside of the ring, allowing the rest of the Judgment Day to hit the ring.

This saw the rest of the group all hit their finishers on John Cena, including the female members of the group, with Roxanne Perez hitting her Pop Rox finisher on Cena.

Speaking on Complex’s Graps the Podcast, Roxanne was asked her thoughts on hitting her finisher on Cena at the event.

She said:

“Obviously I thought it was frickin’ insane. Actually it was John Cena’s idea so when he asked us if we would be okay hitting our finishers on him, I was like ‘absolutely’.

“I never thought that would have happened but it was pretty insane, and it was one of those things where the plan is greater than you ever imagined because who would have thought I’d be the one to retire John Cena?

“People say it was Gunther, but I don’t know, I’m sure it was me.”

Roxanne Perez To Leave The Judgment Day?

Since the Judgment Day excommunicated Finn Balor from the group, Finn has attempted to get into the mind of Roxanne, with him attempting to get her to break away from the group.

Finn brought Roxanne into the group last year, with Roxanne filling in during the months Liv Morgan spent out of action with injury, and tensions have begun to rise between Roxanne and the rest of the group since WrestleMania.

While being added to the Judgment Day was a good way to establish Roxanne on the main roster, and her and Raquel Rodriguez have made a great team, Roxanne’s future in the company will be as a solo star heading into the future.

Roxanne breaking away from the Judgment Day, a group that has grown stale to many viewers, and unseating Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship would be a good culmination of the story.
