Sami Zayn has shared stunning artwork ahead of WWE King & Queen of the Ring on May 25, 2024 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

At the upcoming PLE, Zayn defends his WWE Intercontinental Championship against Chad Gable and Bronson Reed in a Triple Threat match.

Ahead of the match, Zayn shared new artwork on Twitter featuring Arabic text, tweeting:

“Arab af”

The artwork can be seen below this news story and has been shared across the internet.

According to u/Danwaka on the Squared Circle subreddit, the text reads:

“WWE Presents: Sami Zayn Intercontinental Champion

“Yo, Khadija, I did it!

“The New Champion”

Khadija is likely a reference to Zayn’s real-life wife, Khadijah Sebei, who he married in 2018.

The line would be paraphrasing the famous line from the 1979 movie Rocky II in which the titular character says to his wife, who is watching at home, “Yo, Adrian, I did it!” after defeating Apollo Creed to become the new world heavyweight boxing champion.

The translation was also provided by u/Dozens86 who is “slowly learning Arabic” with others members of the subreddit helping peace together the meaning.

Chad Gable recently shared his opinion of Sami Zayn ahead of the Triple Threat this Saturday, stating he has “never been so giddy.”
