Samoa Joe Issues New ‘Protocol’ For His AEW World Title Reign AEW

AEW World Champion Samoa Joe has issued new ‘protocol’ for challengers during his AEW world title reign, already gaining respondents.

During AEW Dynamite, World Champion Samoa Joe addressed Daily’s Place and the AEW audience about the changes he would institute as new champ.

Notably, reinvigorating how a world title challenge would be facilitated, being sure to note that no longer would ‘hoe ass’ comments on Twitter hold any sway.

Instead, a potential challenger could submit their wins and loss record and the ‘championship committee’ would determine whether or not they were suitable for a title shot.

For clarity, no members of the committee were revealed.

At any rate, Samoa Joe would soon elicit strong responses regarding interest in challenging from not only one or two, rather three wrestlers would approach the ring.

First, Swerve Strickland appeared to have an in-ring back and forth with Joe, next Hangman Adam Page and finally, HOOK.

The latter having challenged Samoa Joe on the past episode of Collision, the pair had a heated face-to-face showdown in the ring.

On next week’s Dynamite, Samoa Joe defending the AEW World Title against HOOK was confirmed, also advertised as being ‘presented by Suicide Squad.’

During the last AEW media scrum, Samoa Joe revealed his involvement in a growing partnership with WB Games for his title reign.
