A scrapped match from the AEW Revolution 2024 card has been revealed ahead of the February 28 edition of AEW Dynamite.
On the February 21 episode of AEW Dynamite, the company announced a new match type in the “Meat Madness Match” that was set to debut at AEW Revolution.
Wardlow, Powerhouse Hobbs and Lance Archer were all announced for the bout on March 3, but it now looks like things have changed.
Ahead of the February 28 episode of Dynamite, Tony Khan took to social media to announced that “Meat Madness” has been scrapped from the Revolution card. He wrote:
With multiple wrestlers slated for #AEWRevolution‘s Meat Madness match out injured + shelved by AEW docs, I’m temporarily freezing the bout until they’re clear
Meat Madness is on ice;
instead Sunday’s ppv will feature an
All-Star Scramble Match!
See you tonight on #AEWDynamite!
The participants in the All-Star Scramble Match have not been revealed at the time of this writing.
AEW Revolution will be headlined by Sting’s final match as he teams with Darby Allin to defend the AEW World Tag Team Championships against The Young Bucks.
Meanwhile, Samoa Joe will defend the AEW World Title against Hangman Adam Page and Swerve Strickland in a three-way match at AEW Revolution 2024.
