Multiple WWE main roster stars appeared on tonight edition of WWE NXT (August 29) and while one was announced, not all of them were.
On tonight’s NXT, the Global Heritage Invitational tournament kicked off with a match featuring the Group A participant from the main roster.
Butch faced off against Charlie Dempsey in the Global Heritage Invitational and it was Butch who picked up the win, representing England.
Charlie Dempsey was representing the United States despite being born to two quite English parents (you may have heard of his Father, William Regal?) which was explained by commentary as Dempsey being “British by blood but American by birth”.
Earlier in a backstage segment, a surprise appearance by the Street Profits, which you can see below, included a positive interaction with Carmelo Hayes and the NXT Tag Team Champions, Tony D’Angelo and Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo.
Elsewhere on tonight’s NXT, two stars earned their way back into the Performance Center by winning a steel cage match. You can click here to read more about that.
Well look who it is!
