Sting Reveals Injury After AEW Dynamite Goes Off The Air

Sting Reveals Injury After AEW Dynamite Goes Off The Air AEW

After a frightening spot saw Sting take an awkward landing on a table, the Icon himself has shared an update on how he is feeling.

During tonight’s main event on AEW Dynamite, Sammy Guevara and Chris Jericho as the Painmaker took on Sting and Darby Allin.

In the match, Guevara was primed to take a table spot from Allin however Sting interrupted instead and opted to make the big dive off a ladder himself.

Unfortunately, the positioning of two tables seemed slightly off and instead of going through both, Sting appeared to crash his face into one of them upon making the dive.

After the show went off the air, Sting addressed the crowd, telling them that he thinks he has a loose tooth and will need ‘a bunch of stitches’ but was grateful to have done it there in Ontario.

He also thanked Tony Khan for the opportunity to continue to wrestle.

Sting is 64 years young.

On tonight’s AEW Dynamite, another two Blind Eliminator tournament tag teams were revealed including one pair of friends turned foes were revealed as needing to co-exist, yet again.

Elsewhere on tonight’s show, MJF attempted to befriend Adam Cole after the latter was pulled from Forbidden Door due to illness this past Sunday but returned tonight.

However, his real-life girlfriend Britt Baker has now been pulled from tonight’s show due to illness and her match with Ruby Soho in the Owen Hart tournament has been postponed until next week.

Also, the date and location of the next AEW Blood and Guts match was announced while the exact list of participants remains unknown.
