Who Will Be Representing The Rock In WWE Creative Revealed WWE

The backstage name representing The Rock in the WWE creative process has now been revealed, following his appearance on SmackDown.

Following Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes’ announcement that he won’t be challenging for Roman Reigns’ WWE Undisputed Universal Title, The Rock made his entrance and had a stare down with the Tribal Chief.

With all signs pointing to The Rock vs Roman Reigns being announced for WrestleMania, it appears that the TKO Board of Directors member is preparing to return to the ring for his first main event since 2013.

Per Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Brian Gewirtz will be in the mix as the voice representing Johnson in the WWE Creative process going forward.

Some reportedly believe that Gewirtz will be around physically at least at major shows moving forward.

Brian Gewirtz is a former WWE head writer who notably works for The Rock’s Seven Bucks Productions company as the SVP of Development.

PWInsider noted that “numerous WWE sources” have confirmed that The Rock vs Roman Reigns is expected to be officially announced during Thursday’s (February 8) WrestleMania Kickoff event in Las Vegas.
