Former NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton has shared a photo of her injury following her loss to Becky Lynch at NXT No Mercy 2023.
In the main event of the September 30 show, Stratton challenged for Becky Lynch’s NXT Women’s Championship in an Extreme Rules match, but ultimately came up short.
Despite suffering a nasty injury during the Extreme Rules match, Becky Lynch appeared on week’s edition of NXT (October 3), where she witnessed Lyra Valkyria earn the right to challenge for the NXT Women’s Championship at Halloween Havoc.
While at the show Lynch would note that neither herself or Stratton were medically cleared to compete because, in Lynch’s words, they “beat the ever-loving piss out of each other.”
Ahead of this show, Stratton gave us an idea of just how banged up the Center of the Universe was following No Mercy.
Posting to Twitter, Stratton showed off her left eye (see below), which was visibly swollen following the match, which she blames Lynch for.
Stratton captioned the photo:
Happy Tiffy Tuesday to everyone but @BeckyLynchWWE
As well as crowning a new number one contender for Lynch’s title, a brand new North American Champion was also crowned on NXT, with Dominik Mysterio re-capturing the title following his loss to Trick Williams at No Mercy.
