A TNA Wrestling star has re-signed with the company, explaining his decision to do so in a newly published interview.
While the company has seen notable departures such as Jordynne Grace, Josh Alexander and Ace Austin in 2025, it has also seen exciting new arrivals and existing stars committing to new deals.
In a new interview posted by PWInsiderElite (via Fightful), TNA star Jason Hotch revealed that he has officially extended his stay in the company by penning a new contract.
In the interview Hotch revealed that a key reason behind the decision was his tag team partner John Skylar, describing their friendship as a “solid brotherhood”.
Hotch explained:
“A lot went into where I was gonna re-sign when my contract came up. John Skyler and I, we’ve really formed a solid brotherhood. I can confidently say he’s probably one of my best friends I’ve ever made in the business, let alone outside of it.
“I talk to him about very personal things—he probably knows me better than anybody in the locker room, as it probably should be with a tag partner.”
As well as Skylar, Hotch spoke highly of his time in the Order Four faction with former WWE star Mustafa Ali, who also committed to TNA by signing a deal with the company earlier this year:
“He made the decision to re-sign with TNA practically for me and my family. We both feel like we still have a lot to offer as a tag team. But I’m also really enjoying where this Order Four thing is going.
“Being able to sit alongside Mustafa Ali—I really think he’s one of the brightest minds in the business. I just try to be a sponge the whole time. I still have a lot to learn. Every day’s a school day.”
Hotch joined TNA Wrestling officially in 2022 after winning that year’s Gut Check competition alongside Jack Price, who departed the company at the end of his contract last month.
Hotch was most recently seen on TNA programming on the June 12 episode of iMPACT, losing to Leon Slater in singles competition.
