A former WWE star has recalled being added to a show’s lineup two weeks into starting with the company.
WWE LFG currently has its third season airing on A&E, and features wrestling legends passing their knowledge onto Performance Center trainees.
Sirena Linton – who has been featured on all three seasons – has shared her honest thoughts on her experience with LFG, which she started on very early into her time with the company.
During a Q&A session on her YouTube channel, Linton recalled being put on the show before she even learned how to lock up with somebody.
Noting that she’s grateful that she received this opportunity as it forced her to pick things up quickly, Linton said:
“I, walking in the doors of WWE, was thrown onto the show Legends & Future Greats on A&E. Literally two weeks into me starting at the company. I didn’t even know how to lock up with somebody. I didn’t even know how to run the ropes, and I was put on the show.
“If you go back and watch season one to season two to now season three – which is still airing, and footage is still coming out every Sunday of me – you will see my development.
“You will see me learn how to lock up. You will see my mistakes. You will see how much I’ve grown in three seasons, which was really not filmed in that long of a period of time. I’m very proud of what I’ve done.
“I also am grateful for the fact that I was thrown on it because I had no choice but to basically learn everything. I was forced to either pick it up or basically get kicked off the show, to be honest.
“Yes, my departure happened, but being put in a position of pressure made me have to adapt. I feel that has pushed me to learning how to wrestle and picking this stuff up faster than a lot of people would and can, to be honest.”

Sirena Linton competed as a gymnast for the University of Arizona before joining WWE, taking the collegiate athlete path to the company.
She noted during the Q&A that as soon as she found out there was a path for athletes to become wrestlers, she reached out to WWE and pitched herself to the company on an app that was used for NIL deals for college athletes.
Linton was released by WWE in April, days before the WWE LFG season three premiere.
With Sirena Linton indicating that she will continue wrestling in the Q&A, it would be cool to see her make a name for herself outside of WWE.
Not having the opportunity to do much outside of LFG during her WWE run, a stint on the independent scene could provide Linton with the freedom to thrive and create something new.
