WWE has had some notable mixed tag teams in recent years that have made their presence felt on the company’s television.

From Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan to CM Punk reuniting with his wife AJ Lee, these duos have been heavily featured as some of the top stars in the company.

Looking at the current WWE roster, there are several new mixed tag teams that might get the spotlight in the near future.

Here are seven new potential WWE mixed tag teams.

7. Matt Cardona & Chelsea Green

One pair of WWE stars who have a real life relationship that is very well publicized are Matt Cardona and Chelsea Green.

Green re-signed with WWE in 2023 and has become one of the most reliable performers in the women’s division.

Meanwhile, Cardona reinvented himself on the independent scene for six years after spending well over a decade with WWE. In 2026, the former Zack Ryder made his return to the company.

Cardona forming a partnership with Green on WWE TV would be interesting and create a new direction for both of their characters to go in.

6. Damian Priest & Lola Vice

Another couple on the WWE roster that is separated by being on different brands right now is Damian Priest and Lola Vice.

Priest and Vice have made their love no secret, posting on social media often with one another.

While Priest is one half of the current WWE Tag Team Champions on Friday Night SmackDown, Vice has become one of the biggest stars on the NXT brand regardless of gender.

Coming to the main roster, Vice could break out in a major way, especially if she was paired up with her real life boyfriend Priest moving forward.

5. El Grande Americano & La Catalina

There is no denying that El Grande Americano has become one of the most popular stars in all of pro wrestling today thanks to his strong work in Mexico for WWE AAA.

Earlier this year, La Catalina made the move from CMLL to AAA and has become a top contender for Flammer’s AAA Reina de Reinas Championship.

Most recently, Americano was attacked by the newest group in AAA, Los Perros Del Mal. The group features Karmen Petrovic, Daga, Angel, Berto and Bronco Nima.

Looking to even the odds with Petrovic, El Grande could recruit Catalina as an ally to go at it with this new threat on AAA.

4. Chad Gable & Kendal Grey

Kendal Grey has truly taken WWE NXT by storm and become one of the fastest rising stars the brand has ever seen.

At WWE NXT Great American Bash 2026, Grey defeated Lola Vice to win the NXT Women’s Championship.

Elsewhere, Chad Gable has been on a redemption tour after unmasking himself as The Original El Grande Americano and feeling remorse for his previous disrespect to the lucha libre culture.

After trying and failing to make amends with Maxxine Dupri and Alpha Academy, Gable might find his next female student to impart his wisdom to in Kendal Grey when she is ready to make the jump to the WWE main roster.

3. Carmelo Hayes & Kelani Jordan

Another real life couple who could make for a formidable mixed tag team is Carmelo Hayes and Kelani Jordan.

Hayes finds himself back in the mix for the United States Championship in a rivalry with Trick Williams on Friday Night SmackDown.

Meanwhile, Kelani Jordan has positioned herself to be one of the top contenders for Kendal Grey’s NXT Women’s Championship.

Looking to take the next step in her career, Jordan could get called up to the WWE main roster to join forces with her husband Carmelo Hayes in the near future.

2. Ricky Saints & Jade Cargill

During their time in All Elite Wrestling together, Ricky Saints and Jade Cargill formed a tight-knit bond and friendship.

The two stars would help each other train inside the squared circle and always express their support for one another even when they were not in the same company.

Now that Saints and Cargill are back on the same show, it would make sense to see these two former AEW stars forming an alliance moving forward.

Saints and Cargill could enhance each other’s characters and acts to become two of the most featured stars on Friday Night SmackDown before long.

1. Finn Balor & Roxanne Perez

In 2025, Roxanne Perez was called up from WWE NXT to the main roster and was eventually recruited by Finn Balor to join The Judgment Day.

However, the other members of The Judgment Day decided to betray Balor and excommunicate him from the stable in March 2026.

This has led to ‘The Prodigy’ having some doubts in regards to her future with The Judgment Day and the leadership of Liv Morgan.

Whether it be in the coming weeks or months, Perez turning on The Judgment Day seems inevitable and could lead to her reuniting with Balor down the line.
