Top IMPACT Wrestling Name Reveals ‘Ultimate End Goal’ For The Promotion

A top name working for IMPACT Wrestling has revealed what the promotion’s “ultimate end goal” is in the future.

Speaking to Chris Van Vliet on his Insight podcast, IMPACT’s current Head of Talent Relations D-Lo Brown has called on people to stop “sleeping” on the promotion’s product while also outlaying his hopes for the trajectory for the future.

Brown explained:

“I have said this, and I say this with no disrespect, but if you’re sleeping on IMPACT Wrestling, that’s a ‘you problem,’ not a ‘me problem.’

“I will tell you, if you give IMPACT three shows, three weeks, you’ll be back for the fourth, and you’ll stay with us.

“I think our TV is done in a way where it draws you in. It doesn’t insult the intelligence of the viewer, and it pays homage to what wrestling is supposed to be.”

On IMPACT’s ambition going forward, Brown reveals that a return to live weekly TV is their eventual aim, however, he insists the promotion is happy with their output at present.

Brown said:

“You can only hope that that’s our ultimate end goal. You can only hope that that’s where as we grow, that’s where our success will take us.

“As of right now, I’m just happy putting out a quality product that you can see on YouTube (and) television.”

IMPACT has aired live on an infrequent basis in recent years, with the Thursday, March 30th edition of IMPACT being its first live broadcast on current network AXS TV.

The promotion recently crowned a new world champion at the recent Against All Odds event on June 9.

IMPACT veteran Alex Shelley defeated Steve Maclin to capture his first world championship, almost 20 years on from his debut in the promotion.
