Triple H & Vince McMahon ‘Difference Of Philosophies’ On WWE Managers Revealed WWE

Some insight has emerged on differences in the philosophies of Vince McMahon and Triple H regarding WWE managers.

While wrestling managers have been a key role in the business for a long time, WWE has started to utilise managers in different ways under the Triple H regime.

Per Sean Ross Sapp during his Fightful Select Q&A session, Triple H and Vince McMahon have different preferences when booking managers to wrestle.

When asked why Valhalla has barely wrestled since returning, despite her being a member of the women’s division during her previous WWE run, Sapp said:

“She was brought back primarily to manage the Vikings, just primarily. I don’t know that there was a heavy discussion of her wrestling, but it was always potential.

“Vince didn’t like to have women’s managers on the roster that just didn’t wrestle. And Triple H was much more open to that.

“That’s why we’re seeing – like Rhea is a manager and a wrestler, but she’s a wrestler first, Zelina, a manager and a wrestler who was a manager first, now is a wrestler first, and now we’ve got Valhalla who is a manager first and sometimes a wrestler, Maxxine Dupri fits in that as well. It’s a difference of philosophies.”

Details on another Triple H planned storyline that has been ‘Vince’d’ have now been revealed, which you can read more about right here.

While many stars have seen plans for them change in recent months, WWE made a notable change to Roman Reigns’ presentation on the July 28 edition of SmackDown.
