UK Wrestlers Star in Hilarious new Barclaycard TV ad

Have you seen the new pro wrestling-themed Barclaycard TV ad?

If so, it may surprise you to know that some familiar faces from the UK wrestling scene are part of it.

And if not, don’t worry, because you can see it here!

WOS and NGW Champion Justin Sysum sports a blond wig in the ad so you’d be forgiven for not recognising him!

And UK scene regulars Greg Burridge – as fight co-ordinator – Lana Austin – who was stunt double for the main character ‘Karen’ – and Ed Gamester are also involved.

They all flew to Serbia to film scenes for the commercials about two long-suffering partners who each have different unique obsessions – one of them being professional wrestling!

Justin said he’d had an “amazing week” on the shoot.

“Serbia is a hidden gem, definitely worth a visit,” he said.

“Belgrade was full of life and the people were very friendly and helpful. The shoot was a really great experience too, It was a really big deal and i feel very privileged to be part of it. The resulting ad is hilarious!”

The TV adverts – released on August 31 – will appear in a series of spots including on hit ITV show Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions Return.
