News on a programming change for next week’s WWE shows which could very well have Elimination Chamber implications.
Fans in attendance for tonight’s NXT taping at the WWE Performance Center received an update on next week’s taping.
It was announced to those in attendance that next week’s February 13 NXT taping will be a ‘Special Double Show’.
Taping two episodes next week suggests that the February 20 edition of NXT will not air live, rather be pre-taped.
Also, next week’s WWE SmackDown (February 16) will feature a double taping, meaning the February 23 episode would air pre-taped.
These changes are due to WWE travelling to Australia for Elimination Chamber, which takes place on February 24.
Already announced for next week’s NXT, an NXT Tag Team Title match with the Family (Tony D’Angelo and Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo) facing off against the winners of the Dusty Cup, Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker.
Breakker continues to field offers from both WWE Raw and SmackDown having appeared on both shows since his big Royal Rumble appearance.
Shout out to Debbie on Twitter for sending the scoop, thanks Debbie!
