16-time World Champion John Cena is set to make his return on tonight’s (September 1) episode of SmackDown in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
Cena is set for many appearances over the next few weeks, including a rumoured appearance at tomorrow night’s Payback premium live event.
With Cena’s run coming around as a result of the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strikes, WWE is set to feature Cena on multiple shows going forward, and that may not end at just Payback tomorrow night.
Per PWInsider Elite (via WrestleLamia), there has been talk within WWE of John Cena making an appearance at not only Payback tomorrow night, but also the upcoming Fastlane event in October.
