An update has emerged on WWE star R-Truth amid his lengthy hiatus after suffering an injury in late 2022.
Truth has been out of action since suffering a torn quadricep muscle during his match against Grayson Waller on the November 1, 2022 edition of NXT.
With previous reports indicating that the veteran is expected to be out of action for most of 2023, it is unclear when the former 24/7 Champion will be stepping back into a ring.
Per PWInsider, Truth was spotted in Birmingham, Alabama earlier this week.
This is notably where many WWE stars have had medical procedures.
While PWInsider didn’t confirm anything, the report noted that Truth is likely getting checked out as part of the process leading to a potential in-ring return.
In early June, Truth shared a video showing the progress of his surgery wound healing in the months since his injury.
The video ended with a photo of R-Truth standing in a locker room, indicating that he has recently been training without leg support.
Prior to this video, Truth stated that he’d be back ‘soon‘.
We will continue to provide updates on R-Truth as they become available.
