Over the weekend, Marty Scurll was removed from the Ring of Honor website. Currently, he is not listed under their roster or alumni pages.
Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Scurll has no role in the company’s creative process and is not on their active roster. He added that Ring of Honor currently has no plans to use him either. However, Meltzer also said that Scurll has not been fired.
This all comes as a result of the #SpeakingOut movement from earlier this year. Scurll was accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl in 2015, although he has denied any wrongdoing. Scurll released a pair of statements where he admitted to having a “brief consensual sexual encounter” where he had no reason to question the age of the girl.
Ring of Honor had announced that they were launching their own investigation into the matter. However, they have yet to reveal any findings.
Scurll has not wrestled since February. It was revealed earlier this year that he had re-signed with the company while taking on the role as booker. Since then, Delirious has stepped back into the role.
