News has come to light regarding the backstage reaction in WWE to comments made by Nia Jax about ‘perverted higher-ups’.
The tweet was brought back to attention today following the allegations that emerged involving Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis.
You can read all the details and the full story on the allegations at this link.
Back on April 30, Jax tweeted:
“It’s a shame, some people deserve to get the opportunity to shine like the star they really are, but unfortunately certain higher ups can never see past their own perverted ways. Too bad, there aren’t the lucky ones who can use blackmail to keep their jobs. *random tweet*”.
In a new update, Fightful Select is reporting that Jax’s comments were “dismissed” backstage based on the idea of her being “bitter”.
Jax’s comment would have been made after the investigation was underway as it started in April, but there was “no mention” of it from WWE higher-ups.
Fightful also received a comment from a current female WWE talent about Laurinaitis, which you can read at this link.
We will continue to provide more details on this story as they emerge. You can find all further updates at this link.
