Unseen Footage Of Surprise Return At WWE Return At Crown Jewel 2023 WWE

Unseen footage has now been revealed of a WWE star ahead of their big surprise return at WWE Crown Jewel 2023 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

In a sweet backstage moment caught on film, Kairi Sane was preparing for her big (and secretive!) WWE return when she was caught by fans.

Filming an interaction with Kairi Sane as she was seen backstage, Sane looked ready to go as the person in the headset with her made sure to make a little ‘shh’ motion with his fingers to the fans!

Sane’s return would soon be a secret no more as she caused a distraction interference in the end of IYO SKY’s match against Bianca Belair, ultimately proving to be helpful to the champ.

While Bayley looked confused at Sane’s appearance, she celebrated the victory in the ring with still WWE Women’s Champion, IYO SKY.

If you recall, it was Bayley that put Kairi Sane out of action in WWE storyline back in July 2020 before her eventual departure from the company in December 2021.

In the interim, Kairi Sane went on to continue to wrestle for promotions in her home country of Japan including for NJPW where squared off against another familiar face from her time in WWE.

After a 90 day reign, Kairi would lose her her IWGP Women’s Championship to Mercedes Mone (formerly Sasha Banks in WWE) at the Battle in the Valley in February 2023.

Elsewhere at WWE Crown Jewel 2023, there was a big title change as Logan Paul was able to finally capture WWE gold. You can click here to learn more about that.
