‘Lots Of Praise’ For WWE Star’s Performance On Raw

A WWE star has received “lots of praise” following their performance on the June 5, 2023 episode of WWE Raw from Hartford, Connecticut.

In the lead up to the Monday night show, Seth Rollins issued an open challenge for a first defense and Judgment Day’s Damian Priest accepted the offer for a World Heavyweight Championship match.

It was quite an eventful evening for Priest, with Finn Balor interjecting himself into proceedings and Priest making his feelings about that quite clear.

Priest wouldn’t be able to take the World Heavyweight Championship from Rollins, but footage shared online would see Rollins praising Priest for being a worthy first opponent of his championship reign.

In the footage, which can be seen below, Priest returns to the ring and shakes the World Heavyweight Champion the hand in a rare moment of respect from the Judgment Day member.

The match wasn’t just popular with the WWE fans, however, with PW Insider reporting that Priest had received “lots of praise internally” for his work against Seth Rollins on Monday evening.

This isn’t the first time there’s been praise for Priest as there was a similar sentiment being shared after his match with Bad Bunny at Backlash.

This comes on a show where a “number of talents” had also revealed they had “much fun” working in front of a crowd that isn’t “like Montreal or NYC” when it comes to being “on fire” for the WWE action.
