The tag team had much of their success during the 1980s. However, Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson still compete to this day, even making their NJPW in-ring debuts last month.
The reigning NWA Tag Team Champions were inducted by controversial former manager Jim Cornette into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2017.
On this week’s show, SCU and Lucha Bros defeated Dark Order and Private Party respectively. They will now go head-to-head next week, with the winner being crowned the inaugural AEW World Tag Team Champions.
As always, WrestleTalk.com will have live coverage of next week’s AEW Dynamite show.
