Top WWE Star Rejects Joining Judgment Day On Raw

Top WWE Star Rejects Joining Judgment Day On Raw WWE

Tonight on WWE Raw (September 18) a top WWE star rejected joining Judgment Day as the faction continues hunting a new member.

In the main event of WWE Raw, Jey Uso took on Drew McIntyre with Judgment Day looking on.

While Judgment Day continues to tease recruiting both Jimmy and Jey Uso, Damian Priest let Jey know that he was hoping it would be him to join the group.

However, he knew that the rest of the crew had eyes for Jimmy so Damian Priest gave Jey Uso until the end of the night to decide.

It seemed possible Jey Uso could decide to join Judgment Day after repeatedly facing backstage rejection, including Kevin Owens outright telling him he was “one shade of eyeliner away,” from joining the faction.

Jey Uso continued to attempt to prove his trustworthiness to the Raw locker room and seemed to be trying to take accountability for his past misdeeds against McIntyre with the match..

With Judgment Day literally in his ear, Jey would decide to instead knock them around in lieu of striking McIntyre when he had the chance, superkicking the Judgment Day members at ringside, but the change of course caused him to eat a big Claymore from McIntyre who capitalized for the pinfall victory.

After the match, Judgment Day was not pleased started a beatdown on Jey Uso with Drew McIntyre initially turning away, refusing to help, before taking a long pause.

In the end, we wouldn’t find out the full weight of Drew McIntyre’s decision because as he paused seemingly in further contemplation, Cody Rhodes ran out around him to make the save.

Pulling down the ring rope to toss Priest, Cody fought off Balor and Dominik, saving Jey Uso and standing tall to end the episode.

On tonight’s edition of WWE Raw, there was a change to the planned opponent for Becky Lynch as Natalya took on the NXT Women’s Champion in an open challenge.

Lynch’s opponent wasn’t the only thing changed from original plans for Raw – find out more at this link.
