Randy Orton is set to return at WWE Survivor Series in the WarGames match on November 25, 2023, and is part of Cody Rhodes’ team.
The announcement was made by Rhodes on last night’s WWE Raw, with footage being found below this story.
That means that the upcoming PLE will see the team of Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, and Randy Orton facing off against The Judgment Day (Damian Priest, Finn Bálor, Dominik Mysterio & JD McDonagh) and Drew McIntyre.
Judgment Day’s Damian Priest has reacted to the news and it seems he’s trying to get in touch with The Viper, tweeting:
“Yo@RandyOrton, answer your phone… bro!”
On the November 20 episode of WWE Raw, McIntyre would also reveal that he isn’t a member of Judgment Day.
McIntyre also reacted to the Orton reveal on social media, reflecting on their history together.
Priest previously teamed with Orton and Matt Riddle on the WWE Live Supershows in December 2021.
Orton last competed in a WWE ring on the May 20 2022 episode of WWE SmackDown in a title unification match where The Usos brought together the Raw and SmackDown tag team titles.
Before Rhodes made his announcement, an interesting fact was recently revealed about Orton’s return and the date of the announcement itself.
Yo @RandyOrton, answer your phone… bro!
