Michael Cole has been a WWE fixture since joining the company in 1997 and has risen to be a respected voice for the product.
There have been many past stories of the fractious relationship between Cole on commentary and Vince McMahon backstage, including threats over his job from McMahon.
Cole has, however, previously downplayed their interactions, describing the now executive chairman of WWE as “a second dad in many ways.”
With Vince McMahon no longer regularly in Cole’s ear on commentary, the Vice President of Announcing remains a familiar voice on SmackDown and WWE PLEs.
Video footage has now emerged from WWE Money in the Bank, showing Michael Cole’s reaction to some of the big moments on the July 1 show in London. You can see the video below.
This isn’t the first time that Michael Cole’s reactions have been praised on social media, with a similar occurence happening after WrestleMania 39, last year’s Money in the Bank, and many others.
Cole’s Money in the Bank and SmackDown commentary partner, Wade Barrett, tweeted in response:
“Just @MichaelCole being a raving lunatic at the desk at #MITB 🤣👇🏻”
Cole has also previously discussed plans to slow down as he approaches sixty years of age.
Michael Cole deserves all the praise in the world. He is truly the best. pic.twitter.com/AAwY5fdbHY
