WWE NXT Star Noam Dar Returns From Injury After Almost A Year WWE

WWE NXT star Noam Dar has made his return to in-ring action after another injury absence of almost a year.

Dar worked last night’s WWE NXT live event in Dade City, Florida, picking up a win against Vanity Project member Jackson Drake.

This was Dar’s first match since June 2025 back when he had to relinquish the NXT Heritage Cup Championship due to injury.

At that point, Dar had actually only been back for a couple of months after what had been another nearly year long injury layoff from May 2024 to April 2025.

Dar has been with WWE for 10 years now after making his debut in the 2016 Cruiserweight Classic tournament and signing a part of the cruiserweight division thereafter.

He then had a run in NXT UK before moving to the US based NXT brand upon the shutdown of NXT UK.

He’s a four-time Heritage Cup Champion and was the leader of the popular Meta-Four group in NXT with Lash Legend, Jakara Jackson (Mara Sade) and Oro Mensah.

Noam Dar Could Be Pivotal In NXT Rebuild

NXT had its three biggest male stars taken away at the beginning of 2026 when they moved to the main roster, and now the next few biggest names are gone as well.

Oba Femi, Trick Williams and Je’Von Evans, and now Joe Hendry, Ethan Page and Ricky Saints have all been called up to WWE Raw and SmackDown over the past few months.

This has left a very obvious gap in the NXT men’s division with the only real top player right now being Tony D’Angelo.

Noam Dar making his comeback could certainly see him in that mix and being a big part of elevating some newer talent to main event level – while being one of those main event talents himself.
