The Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan, has advertised a special Friday edition of Raw on December 28.
PWInsider are reporting that this will be a taping only, and will air as a New Year’s Eve edition on the Monday. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is also stating that the Christmas Eve Raw, Christmas Day Smackdown Live, and New Year’s Day Smackdown Live will also be pre-taped.
This comes following backlash of WWE stars working Christmas and New Year’s Day last year. WWE insisted that Raw’s Christmas Day edition was live.
