WWE has pulled Naomi from a movie publicity event following the attack she suffered at Elimination Chamber on March 1, 2025.
The WWE PLE saw Jade Cargill return and take her anger out on Naomi in the women’s Elimination Chamber match.
Naomi has since been pulled from a publicity event for the upcoming Queen of the Ring movie.
With Naomi having a supporting role in the Mildred Burke biopic, she was set to appear at the media junkets for the movie ahead of its March 7 release date.
PW Insider reports that WWE made the call to withdraw Naomi from the media appearances to sell the attack from Cargill.
Naomi portrays Ethel Johnson in Queen of the Ring, a legendary wrestler who would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2021.
Burke, portrayed by Emily Bett Rickards in the biopic, was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2016.
Bianca Belair – who was unable to stop Naomi from being attacked while inside the Elimination Chamber pod – has now commented on the attack, click here to read more.
