WWE Raw Star Admits They’ve Always Had A Hard Time With Promos

WWE Raw star Zoey Stark has opened up about her struggles with promos, revealing who has helped her improve her promo skills.

Stark was one of several NXT names called up to the main roster during the 2023 WWE Draft.

The rising star made a name for herself at Night of Champions, attacking former Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, and siding with Hall of Famer Trish Stratus.

Speaking on WrestleRant, Stark admitted that she personally gives herself a hard time over her promo work, noting:

“I personally feel like I’ve always had a hard time with promos.

“I always get good feedback with them, to where they say they’re really good, but I’m so hard on myself to where, every time I do a promo, I’m saying, ‘Ah, I could have done this better and do that better.’

“It’s not always the healthiest thing to do, but it does make me better for the next promo. To say if there’s a favorite promo of mine so far?

“I don’t think so, but I know the next promo I do will be better than the last.”

When asked who has helped her with promos, Stark named several individuals who have given her valuable feedback:

“Ryan Katz, he’s our promo teacher at the Performance Center, he has a wealth of knowledge and is amazing. It’s amazing to pick his brain.

“The other guy would be coach Matt Bloom. Every time I go with him to teach, he gives me different ideas and really helps me be unique from everybody else.”

Stark previously stated that new SmackDown star Grayson Waller has also helped her with her mic skills.

Waller was drafted to SmackDown earlier this year, but has yet to wrestle for the blue brand, as he’s recovering from a broken leg.

Stark is set to compete in the Money in the Bank ladder match on Saturday’s premium live event.
