WWE Raw Star Names Rumored Potential New Signing As Dream Opponent

Amid reports of WWE making an offer to sign STARDOM’s Giulia, a WWE star has named the potential new signee as a dream opponent in the future.

Speaking to Tokyo Sports, Shayna Baszler spoke of stars who she has her eye on and name dropped Giulia as one of them, saying:

“I’m looking at players who might be my opponents someday. I’m interested in Giulia and Utami (Hayashishita).” 

WWE’s interest in signing the Japanese-Italian star has been widely reported recently, with Dave Meltzer revealing in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE had made an offer to the NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion, while also inviting her to the WWE PC in Orlando, FL.

While Giulia was reportedly expected at the PC on November 15, an update revealed that she did not in fact end up attending.

Giulia is reportedly contracted to STARDOM until March 2024, with her next match in the promotion set for the Nagoya Big Winter event on December 2 where she will defend her championship against AZM.
