WWE star Natalya has shared praise for a SmackDown star, following their recent training sessions at the Dungeon.
SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis recently took to Twitter to announce that Bobby Lashley had been pulled from the King of the Ring tournament as he was not cleared to compete.
Aldis also confirmed that Lashley’s Pride stablemate Angelo Dawkins will replace him in the tournament bracket.
While Dawkins typically wrestles in tag-team action alongside Montez Ford, Natalya has shared a post noting that she believes Dawkins is ready for the opportunity.
In response to Nick Aldis’ video, Natalya revealed that Dawkins had spent four hours training at her Dungeon facility on Wednesday night (May 8), prior to him joining the King of the Ring tournament.
Noting that she’s inspired by Dawkins, Natalya wrote:
@AngeloDawkins came to the Dungeon last night and worked his ass off for 4 hours (no air conditioning) in the Florida heat.
What inspires me about Dawkins is he understands the importance of staying ready! #SmackDown
Dawkins is slated to face off against Tama Tonga in the first round of the King of the Ring tournament on Friday’s (May 10) edition of SmackDown.
