WWE Wants Top Star To Return For SummerSlam WWE

An update has emerged on a potential future Bad Bunny WWE appearance, following his celebrated match at Backlash 2023.

During the May 7 premium live event, the Puerto Rican rapper faced off against Damian Priest in a San Juan Street Fight.

Bad Bunny ultimately picked up the victory, dropping the Judgment Day member with his ‘Bunny Destroyer’ piledriver after 25 minutes of action.

Per WRKD Wrestling on Twitter, many were waiting in Gorilla position backstage to congratulate Bad Bunny following his bout.

It was also noted that WWE is hopeful that Bunny will return for SummerSlam:

In case it wasn’t apparent, Bad Bunny’s (@sanbenito) #Backlash match absolutely exceeded expectations backstage with many superstars lined up at Gorilla to celebrate with him.

There’s hopes backstage in using him in some form for #SummerSlam.

SummerSlam 2023 is set to emanate from the Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan on August 5.
