WWE Star Reveals Why Top Champion Is Missing Upcoming Show WWE

A WWE star has shared the reasoning behind a current top champion’s absence from the Superstar Spectacle event from Hyderabad, India (September 8).

When asked on Twitter why herself, Dakota Kai and WWE Women’s Champion IYO SKY weren’t scheduled to appear at the international event, Bayley revealed that it came down to obligations on SmackDown held on the same night.

More specifically, Bayley touted the need to take care of the “disrespectful” and “cheating” Charlotte Flair and Shotzi, who herself and SKY are scheduled to face in tag competition at the show in Boston, Massachusetts’ TD Garden.

Bayley tweeted:

We have some disrespectful, cheating idiots to take care of on #Smackdown tomorrow night. That’s why.

Although Superstar Spectacle will feature talent not on Raw, such as John Cena and NXT’s Bron Breakker, the event is primarily a show featuring the red brand’s stars, making Damage CTRL’s absence not too surprising.

In a silver lining for the Indian crowd they will get to see the Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley compete, who’ll be defending her WWE Women’s World Title against Natalya.

Elsewhere at Superstar Spectacle two returns look to be in store, including one WWE Hall of Famer and another an active star who hasn’t competed in 14 months.
