WWE’s Rhea Ripley Reacts To Dominik Mysterio Losing Championship

WWE star Rhea Ripley reacted to Dominik Mysterio losing the North American Championship on WWE NXT Deadline.

Making an appearance at NXT Deadline tonight, Judgment Day member Dominik Mysterio was uncharacteristically flying solo, without even Rhea Ripley at ringside for his title defense, nor any other members of Judgment Day.

At tonight’s NXT premium live event Deadline (December 9), Dirty Dominik Mysterio sought to hang on to his NXT North American Championship however it was not meant to be.

With Rey Mysterio watching along at ringside on commentary, after an impressive match it would be one final big move from Dragon Lee that secured Dirty Dom’s fate.

Dragon Lee would capture the pinfall victory and become new NXT North American Champion.

Although you might expect Rhea Ripley to react with frustration at Dirty Dom, she was keeping it cute (at least in public!)

‘Mami’ Rhea Ripley wrote on Twitter after the match:

The original challenger for Dominik was legitimately supposed to be Wes Lee, but he suffered an injury that will require surgery and it was decided earlier this week he couldn’t work the match, and Dragon Lee replaced him.

The first Iron Survivor Challenge match of the night was held after the Women’s match occurred, putting Kelani Jordan vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Fallon Henley vs. Blair Davenport vs. Lash Legend.

In the end, Davenport picked up the victory with 3 pinfalls in the match. She’ll now challenge Lyra Valkyria for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT New Year’s Evil.
