A WWE star who was recently sidelined with a torn ACL has taken to Instagram to provide an update on her ongoing recovery.
Damage CTRL’s Dakota Kai suffered the unfortunate injury on the May 12 Smackdown during a tag match in which she teamed with Bayley against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez – a match that also saw Morgan suffer a serious shoulder injury.
While it is still early days in her recovery timeline, Kai has provided her fans a positive update on her condition, saying:
I’m outta my brace and back wearing sweatpants with holes in the knees.
In her absence, Kai’s fellow Damage CTRL cohorts Bayley and IYO SKY have remained together, albeit with dissension continuing to grow between the two.
Both SKY and Bayley are set to compete in London on July 1 in the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match.
Bayley and SKY join Zelina Vega, Becky Lynch, Zoey Stark and the recently qualified Trish Stratus in the full lineup for the match.
While the men’s match already had its confirmed six competitors, a seventh was added to the mix on Monday Night Raw as Logan Paul declared himself to be entering the match for the first time.
Ahead of the big match, Paul has addressed his inclusion in the match, with some choice words for his opponents – you can find Paul’s full comments here.
