Video: Rhea Ripley & Seth Rollins Recreate Hilarious Classic WWE Moment

On the May 30 episode of WWE Raw, a hilarious classic WWE moment was recreated as Seth Rollins & AJ Styles faced Judgment Day.

The match would see the newly crowned WWE World Heavyweight Champion and his Night of Champions opponent AJ Styles team up to take on Finn Balor and Damian Priest with Rhea Ripley also playing her part.

While Judgment Day may not have been able to secure the victory, old school WWE fans were the real winners with the recreation of a spot that took place between Shawn Michaels and Melina from Survivor Series 2006.

The moment was captured and shared by WrestleClips and can be seen below this news story.

In the comparison videos, Rollins finds himself on the outside of the ring and throws an arm around Ripley onto to be chastised by the SmackDown Women’s Champion.

The other video shows the Survivor Series moment with Michaels sliding out of the ring to avoid Johnny Nitro.

Whilst he is outside of the ring, Michaels takes a moment to embrace Melina who momentarily reciprocates before realising who she is hugging.

Her reaction to the member of D-Generation X is nothing short of priceless.

Melina has also responded to the moment, saying:

“I love this.”

Seth Rollins became the WWE World Heavyweight Champion on Saturday May 27 at WWE Night of Champions.

Ripley would retain the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship by defeating Natalya.

Dominik Mysterio would be the subject of a Max Caster name drop on AEW Double or Nothing with Ripley and Mysterio replying on social media.
