Top Star Sets Sights On ‘Life Changing’ WWE Championship Opportunity WWE

A top star has set their sights on a WWE Championship opportunity having qualified for Money in the Bank on the May 29 episode of WWE Raw.

WWE Money in the Bank takes place on Saturday, July 1 2023 and marks the first time that WWE have brought a major event to Insurrextion in June 2003.

With Shinsuke Nakamura defeating Bronson Reed on last night’s WWE Raw to secure his place in the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, the star has commented on his goals.

Speaking on a WWE Raw Exclusive, Nakamura said:

“WWE changed my life a lot. This opportunity, Money in the Bank Ladder Match, it will change my life again.

“This is the first step to the world championship. I came to WWE to be world champion.

“I’ve never forgotten that. I will be world champion anyhow, to use Money in the Bank briefcase.”

Elsewhere on the May 29 episode of WWE Raw, Ricochet would also qualify for the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, defeating The Miz.

On the June 2 WWE SmackDown, LA Knight and Montez Ford go head to head for a place in the match.

Since signing with WWE in 2016, Nakamura has built quite a substantial record for gold, having been two-time WWE Intercontinental and United States Champion, a former WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champion and a two-time NXT Champion.

Although he won the Men’s Royal Rumble in 2018, eliminating current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, he would be unable to defeat AJ Styles for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 34.
