VIDEO: Jey Uso Faces Solo Sikoa Before ‘Tribal Combat’ With Roman Reigns At SummerSlam WWE

There was one last battle between the Bloodline on WWE SmackDown before SummerSlam hosts the big Tribal Combat match.

Before SummerSlam 2023 sees the Bloodline showdown between Roman Reigns and Jey Uso in Tribal Combat, Uso first faced his younger brother Solo Sikoa on SmackDown.

In the first segment featuring the Bloodline on tonight’s SmackDown, Paul Heyman gave a rousing in-ring promo ahead of the Tribal Combat match.

Heyman cued up a vignette that featured Rikishi, Afa and Sika all appearing in the clip to describe the significance of the Ula Fala.

Also featured, at least in animated form along with other foundational members of the Anoa’i family, was Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.

The match was described as needing to have a clear and decisive winner in order to determine who would emerge from Tribal Combat as the Tribal Chief.

Heyman was then joined by Jey Uso and subsequently Solo Sikoa where a short physical altercation kicked off with Uso getting the better of Solo.

Jey frightened Paul Heyman in the corner of the ring on the way out, as a match between Jey and Solo was still yet to come.

In the night’s main event, Jey Uso beat Solo Sikoa and stood tall after a post-match brawl as well.

Standing tall to end the episode, the Detroit crowd celebrated with Uso to the chagrin of Paul Heyman.

Elsewhere on tonight’s episode of SmackDown, a new WWE faction debuted and Shotzi returned for the first time since shaving her head on TV.
