Daniel Bryan came to the ring to talk about how proud he was of his wife and all the women for getting their very own pay-per-view. Unfortunately, this is starting to feel like a gimmick and very much a PR stunt…which of course it is, but there are better ways of letting it happen.
Anyway.
Bryan was interrupted by the Miz who appeared via video-link. The A-lister went on to mock Bryan for being a crying baby (with baby noises included), but Bryan was having none of him.
He slammed Miz for being a coward, and said he should fight Bryan to prove otherwise. Miz took great exception to this (unsurprisingly), and cut one of his wonderful and surprisingly passionate promos that he is able to come out with at these times. This match looks destined for SummerSlam, and I’m sure it will be great when it comes to it.
Elsewhere, Samoa Joe cut a big, angry and wonderful promo as usual, and now I really can’t wait for his match with AJ. Should be juicy.
