WWE SmackDown Draws Highest Viewership For FS1 Preemption WWE

The viewership figure and demo rating for Friday’s (July 21) edition of WWE SmackDown on FS1 has been revealed.

Per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, SmackDown drew 1.230 million viewers. This is down from the July 14 edition that drew 2.309 million viewers.

This past Friday’s episode did not air on FOX, but it was instead pre-empted to FS1. This is the highest total viewership for the program when it has aired on FS1 out of nine times overall.

In the 18-49 demographic, Friday’s show scored 0.36 rating. This is also down from the week prior that scored 0.62 rating.

The show featured Roman Reigns and Jey Uso “Rules of Engagement” segment to set up their “Tribal Combat” showdown for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at SummerSlam.

Also, Rey Mysterio defeated Cameron Grimes, LA Knight and Sheamus in a four-way match to advance to face Santos Escobar to determine the number one contender for Austin Theory’s United States Championship.
