WWE Star Believes Fans Want Them To Receive Major Push WWE

A WWE star believes the audience are fully behind them to receive a major push in the company, saying they “won’t let them down” if the time comes.

As is custom in WWE Royal Rumble matches, talent often take the time to point at the WrestleMania sign looming in the background.

While it often doesn’t equate to that person making it to that point – unless done after the bell has run of course, it is interesting to hear the response to that gesture from the live audience.

As noted by a Twitter user, one star who received a favorable response from the crowd in St Petersburg, Florida upon pointing to the sign was the LWO’s Zelina Vega.

Noticing the tweet, Vega responded by suggesting that the fans are more than ready for her to finally receive a big push in the company.

Vega tweeted:

The crowd has BEEN wanting it.

Been behind me.

Once I get my opportunity to really shine, they know I won’t let them down.

Vega has only held championship gold a single time in WWE – that being the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships alongside Carmella between November 2021  and April 2022.

However, 2023 did see the 33-year-old compete in her very first singles championship match at a Premium Live Event as she unsuccessfully challenged Rhea Ripley for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at Backlash in her native Puerto Rico.

WWE’s plans for both Women’s Championship matches at WrestleMania have not yet been confirmed as of yet, so perhaps there may be a spot for Vega to at the very least, attempt to fight again for a spot in a big title match at the Showcase of the Immortals.
