WWE Star Tags AJ Lee In Online Exchange Following CM Punk Survivor Series Return

A WWE star has tagged former Divas Champion AJ Lee in an online exchange following CM Punk’s Survivor Series return.

At WWE Survivor Series: War Games, CM Punk made his return to the company for the first time in nearly a decade at the end the show.

This has sparked a lot of conversation on what this will mean for the future, including a potential return for Punk’s wife and former WWE star AJ Mendez, formerly known as AJ Lee.

The young crop of talent have long showed their appreciation of Lee and her contributions to women’s wrestling in the 2010s.

In response to Cora Jade posting a video of her meeting CM Punk when she was younger, Roxanne Perez retweeted and brought up what her former friend once told her. She wrote:

Remember when you ended our friendship & told me if I ever posted this video you would incapacitate me

Jade replied and simply said, “Shut up idiot you’re nothing without aj.” After Perez replied with the same response, Cora tagged the former Divas Champion, saying:

Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez are former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions and feuded following a split last year.

Meanwhile, AJ Mendez works as a producer and commentator for WOW: Women of Wrestling.
