A WWE star looks potentially set for a new direction after being accompanied by a debuting star in a managerial role at a recent event.
NXT star Quincy Elliott, who has mostly featured on NXT house shows and NXT Level Up thus far, was accompanied by new WWE recruit Alivia Ash, for an event in Gainesville, Florida on July 22.
Ash, who was recruited by WWE in October 2022, appeared as she accompanied Elliott to the ring for a match with Dante Chen.
Ash was part of the WWE recruitment class of November 2022.
While the new partnership could equal good things for both Elliott and Alivia down the line, things certainly didn’t get off to the best start as Chen claimed the victory on Saturday night.
It’s currently unclear whether this was done as a one-off or whether we will soon see the partnership on NXT TV as well.
In other NXT news, following Dominik Mysterio’s North American Championship win, a fellow NXT Champion has addressed the brand’s recent influx of main roster talents lately, with the NXT star claiming that the brand doesn’t need them.
