At tonight’s WWE WrestleMania 40 it was revealed that one star in a championship match had fallen ill after having spiked a fever.

Despite making a big entrance themed after her recent New York Times bestselling memoir, ‘The Man’ Becky Lynch had some issues.

With commentary noting that Becky Lynch had fallen ill this past week with Strep Throat, it was mentioned that her fever went as high as 102 degrees at one point.

However continuing to soldier on despite illness, Lynch appeared at the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff event yesterday and went on to compete tonight.

Becky Lynch would not be victorious in her bid to capture the WWE Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 40.

Rhea Ripley successfully defended her title against Lynch in the opening bout of night one of WrestleMania.

Still to come tonight, The Rock makes his first in-ring appearance in eight years as he teams with Roman Reigns to take on Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes in the main event.
