A notable musical act will be featured in the opening video package for this Saturday’s (August 5) SummerSlam premium live event.
The Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan will play host to the Biggest Party of the Summer this weekend, and what’s a party without music?
Per WrestleVotes, WWE has plans to feature Kid Rock in the SummerSlam cold open video.
Taking to Twitter to report that this Hall of Famer will be featured on the show (in video form at least), WrestleVotes tweeted:
This years SummerSlam cold open will feature everyone’s favorite rockstar, WWE Hall of Famer, Kid Rock.
In case you’re wondering, Kid Rock was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Celebrity Wing by Triple H as part of the class of 2018.
Another celebrity recently stated that they believe they’re a good match away from a WWE Hall of Fame induction, which you can read more about right here.
The card for SummerSlam 2023 is stacked, with a number of major matches announced for the event.
Two big world title matches have been announced for the show, with Roman Reigns defending the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship against Jey Uso in a Tribal Combat match, and Seth Rollins putting his World Heavyweight Title on the line against Finn Balor.
