Austin Theory has addressed the change in The Vision’s game plan after Logan Paul suffered a tricep injury, taking him off WWE television.

Logan Paul suffered a torn tricep during his WWE World Tag Team Championship defense alongside Austin Theory at Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 23.

With The Vision still holding the tag titles, it would be Bron Breakker who would step in to replace Paul, with Theory discussing the whether the strategy has now changed during an appearance on the WWE France Twitter page, saying:

“There was no strategy, it’s The Vision. Every single one of us is a future main eventer at WrestleMania. It doesn’t matter. Logan Paul, he’s a freak of nature, Bron Breakker, he’s a freak of nature. So, it doesn’t matter who you put in there, it’s Freebird Rules, baby, so Logan Paul, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, either way, we’re the Tag Team Champions.”

With WWE currently engaged in a European Tour, Theory was asked what gift he would be bringing home for Paul, with The Vision member stating:

“I think support. Let’s be real, Logan Paul, he has everything. Everything. Support my brother. Love, that’s real love.”

Logan Paul has cast doubt on the prediction that he would be out of action for “six months’ recovery time” in recent comments, suggesting a much sooner return.

The Vision Without Logan Paul

The triceps tear isn’t the first time that Logan Paul has been injured, with his match against Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel in November 2022 seeing the star suffer a sprained meniscus and MCL, along with a loss to the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.

Discussing his current injury, Paul recently revealed that he had re-evaluated thinking that CM Punk was a “total p***y” after the veteran star suffered a tricep tear in 2024. Describing the injury as “horrible”, Paul has continued to be upbeat on social media, sharing regular recovery updates and describing himself as “WWE’s most injured superstar” on Instagram.

All is not lost for The Vision without Logan Paul, with Theory reflecting on the unit in his comments with WWE France, although it could be argued that the make-up of the WWE Tag Team Champions has a different complexion without the antagonist front that is Logan Paul.

That said, Breakker brings with him his own fine line of verbal attacks, something for which he’s demonstrated an adeptness during his WWE tenure. Be it as a member of the Wolf Dogs, antagonizing and bewildering his own tag-team partner Baron Corbin, or taking to the mic as a member of The Vision, there’s a certain joy in hearing the star speak.

It’s not to say that Austin Theory is a weak character. Far from it, as he has shown over the years, Theory has plenty charisma and the assets to be a future top star. He truly shines, though, when he has another strong personality to play off, granting him the opportunities to elevate his confidence in the presence of a higher bar.

Whether it’s a matter of months or weeks, a return for Logan Paul will no doubt be much anticipated, and there’ll be no doubt that he will fit right back into The Vision, no matter where it is or what it is doing on WWE programming.
