WWE Set To Air Major Sasha Banks Match Ahead Of AEW Debut

WWE is set to air a major Sasha Banks aka Mercedes Mone match ahead of her AEW debut on March 13 at Big Business.

Since the beginning of 2024, there have been various reports and rumors indicating that the former Sasha Banks, Mercedes Mone was set to join the All Elite Wrestling roster in the near future.

In February, Tony Khan announced that the March 13 AEW Dynamite will take place from TD Garden in Boston with a special entitled “AEW Big Business.”

This led many to believe that this show will mark the debut of Mone for the promotion. However, many fans have wondered how WWE will respond to Mone’s AEW arrival.

On March 5, WWE posted a video of the WrestleMania 37 match between Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair from 2021 to premiere on March 6.

The historic bout marked the first time two African American women headlined WrestleMania and saw Belair defeat Banks for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

It has not been confirmed or revealed what Mercedes Mone may do on the March 13 AEW Big Business special at the time of this writing.
