WWE To Run This Main Event Against AEW Double Or Nothing? WWE/AEW

Is this the main event of the upcoming WWE premium live event going head to head against AEW Double or Nothing on pay-per-view?

With WWE NXT Battleground primed for battle against AEW Double or Nothing for the attention of wrestling fans on Memorial Day weekend, the main event of the big event might have just been revealed.

After Carmelo Hayes successfully defended his NXT Championship against Grayson Waller, it wasn’t long until he revealed his next opponent.

Taking to the mic, Hayes challenged Breakker but instead of coming through the standard entrance ramp, the new dastardly Bron struck from behind.

First taking out Trick Williams, Breakker wasted no time taking out the champ in spectacular fashion.

After an in-ring assault, he then delivered a mighty spear through a wall, completely knocking Carmelo Hayes into the abyss to end the segment.

Earlier in the show, Breakker showed off a new look and a new catchphrase. You can read more about that by clicking here.

There were also several teases regarding potential call-ups in the upcoming WWE Draft. Find out which tag team appeared to be written off television after rumors they’ve been scouted for WWE Raw.

And another NXT star teases a call-up as he took to Twitter to thank NXT fans in an eyebrow raising message.
